Family Update
The past three months have been quite a change for our family. I made a list the other day of all of the new things that have happened for us in this short period of time and was amazed with all that has been accomplished. Although many fun blog titles are swimming around in my head I need to take a moment to just share with you about how my family is doing. Let’s go youngest to oldest….Donuts - Donuts
abandonware - abandonware
I don’t normally recommend or review movies on this site (I have another one for that) but I saw Apocalypto this weekend and was very impressed. Visually, it is stunning and the acting is uniformly good. There are a few false notes (like the giving-birth-in-a-well sequence which just comes across as stupid funny) but overall the film is a fascinating look at the clash of civilizations on a small scale and the decay of societies.Have you ever wanted to pick the brain of a professional beauty expert? Well here’s your chance, Nada Guirgis Manley who writes the Beauty Insider Blog is a former beauty editor, published author and contributing columnist to several publications.
Her new book Secrets of The Beauty Insiders is a virtual encylopedia of beauty information. She did so much research!! She collected beauty tips and secrets from 79 of the country’s top beauty insiders - this book is no joke ladies! Great for any beauty diva who spends their paycheck at Sephora!!
Erik is our sweet, easy-going little boy. He is now nearly 11 months old. He is growing stronger and more mobile every day. Erik adores his older brother and is quickly following in his footsteps. He has 6 teeth, can crawl with power, and can almost stand on his own. He loves to play in the water and with bouncy balls.
Connor has gone from our little baby to our big boy in such a short period of time. He is 2 years and 7 months old. He speaks his mind more and more clearly all the time. Much has been expected of him as we’ve arrived here and he has shown us how capable he is. We are so very proud of him. He loves school where he is learning to count, sing new songs, how to sit still and line up when asked. Connor is thriving in preschool and we are so happy that he’s there.
